Police have suspended the licences of two men, separately charged with causing death by dangerous driving, pending the outcome of their matters.
On June 26, 2011 Delano Williams of 260 Middle Street, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown was allegedly driving in a dangerous manner on Sheriff Street, Georgetown, and this resulted in the death of pedestrian Sewcharran Ugraj of Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara.
On December 18, 2009, Zayan Hussain of 148 La Bonne Intention (LBI), East Coast Demerara, was allegedly driving in a dangerous manner along Ogle Public Road, thereby causing the death of Ganesh Jagan, also of LBI, ECD.
