(Jamaica Gleaner) The Earthquake Unit has confirmed that a minor quake was felt at 7.49 this morning near Wakefield in St. Catherine and in parts of Kingston and St. Andrew.
The unit said the 3.5 magnitude quake had a focal depth of 12.3 kilometres.
This is the second quake to be felt in Jamaica since Saturday.
A 3.6 magnitude earthquake was also felt near Hayes in Clarendon, Manchester and parts of Kingston and St. Andrew about 8.47 a.m. on Saturday.
