Dear Editor,
I consider it necessary to draw attention to the ongoing allegations of corrupt behaviour among the ranks of Guyana’s police officers.
Editor, with criminal occurrences continuing to rise in Guyana, citizens deserve to have trusted police officers who can be relied upon to carry out their duties and responsibilities in an unbiased manner. I join with other individuals and organizations in calling for the Minister of Home Affairs, Clement Rohee, to hold enquiries into the various allegations and accusations which are being made against several police officers.
