Tested and proven true: The tubettes used by Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) officials in testing for cocaine and marijuana. The tube on the left is used to test cocaine, while the one on the right is used to test for cannabis. When the substance being tested is cocaine or has a positive presence of the drug, it turns blue. Purple indicates the positive presence of marijuana. These were display samples done by CANU officials yesterday, before they destroyed a quantity of the prohibited substances they had confiscated over the past months.
