Fifteen contestants are set to vie for a place in the final of the GT&T Guyana Star Jingle and Song Competition on Monday night when they compete in the semi final billed for the National Cultural Centre.
According to a press release, in the last round, the contestants performed Caribbean Hits and “a number of stars were born, as they sang, gyrated, trembled and even split their way to the next round and into the hearts and minds of the viewers at home; who have been texting the numbers of their favourite contestants like never before”.
The semi final, the release added, will see contestants performing Billboard Number One Hits. The show, which starts at 8 pm, will also see loads of giveaways and special guest performances, it added. Tickets cost $1,000 and are available at the National Cultural Centre’s box office.
