Dear Editor,
Earlier in the year I had a great interest in participating for the very first time as a voter in the November 28 general elections. However, it now appears that I will no longer do that owing to what I have been witnessing with the political campaigning recently.
I have witnessed grown adults taking the dogmatic and gutter approach with their respective campaign strategies and it’s disgusting. I say for the record that none has so far convinced me to the level of my expectations.
I am wondering why is there an absence of any Chinese Guyanese in the political campaigns. Who do the Chinese Guyanese vote for?
