GT&T today said it wished to inform the general public that as it begins upgrading systems to cater for additional mobile sites there may be moments of disruption.
“We regret to inform you that one such outage happened this morning. Fifteen sites were affected in the Georgetown area. The rest of the country remained connected and landline-to-landline remained connected.
“Our engineers and suppliers of our equipment are cognizant of the repercussions and will work harder to prevent any re-occurrences.
“We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and will do everything within our control to minimize any such disruptions”, a statement from the company said.
