Sherwin Barrow and Michael Calvan were remanded to prison yesterday when they appeared before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry charged with robbing two men at gunpoint of gold items valued in excess of $1m.
The particulars of the offence stated that on October 31 at East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, while armed with a gun the men robbed Lancelot Baptiste and Rory Rogers of gold items valued a total of $1,460,000.
