UG in inaugural scrabble contest

The University of Guyana’s inaugural scrabble competition started this week and Julian Cadogan, Makeisha Archer, Lorraine Carter and Alicia Pollard all took first round victories in the senior common room of the university.

The competition which is being played in two categories, male and female, saw Cadogan of Natural Sciences defeating Mark Archer, a UG staff member. Cadogan scored 344 points while Charles secured 261.
