The semi-finals of the ongoing Carib/Pepsi Twetnty20 competition will take place today at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground.
The semi-finals were scheduled to be held yesterday at the Albion Community Centre ground between Mario’s Pizza West Berbice Super Kings and Gizmos and Gadgets Georgetown Pitbulls while Church’s Chicken Corentyne were to oppose the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) President’s XI.
However, according to competition organiser Robin Singh, the matches had to be moved to today at Bourda because an election event to be held by the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) requires the use of that venue.
Singh said, however, that the final carded for December 3 will still be played at the Albion Community Development Centre ground.
