Due to sporadic rain for most of week, organizers of the Guyana Cricket Board’s ( GCB) Carib/ Pepsi Twenty/ 20 tournament have decided to reschedule both semifinal matches for Wednesday at the famous GCC ground, Bourda. According to Tournament Director Robin Singh during the week, due to the water- logged areas of the GCC ground the possibility of play yesterday was rendered highly unlikely.
Before the rain interruptions, the semi-finals previously scheduled for Albion Community Ground on Friday had a venue change due to a political rally at the venue.
Mario’s Pizza West Berbice Super Kings will clash with Gizmos and Gadgets Georgetown Pitbulls in semifinal one, while Church’s Chicken Corentyne Titans will face- off with the GCB President’s X1 in the other semifinal.
