Fourteen-year-old Jamela Piggott left her Hadfield Street, Lodge home on Tuesday and has not returned home since.
The girl’s mother Suzette Piggott told this newspaper that her daughter left her house on Tuesday after they had a disagreement over a tattoo. The senior Piggott said she beat her daughter after she printed a tattoo on her skin. Suzette said that her daughter ran out the house and has not returned or made contact with her family since. She was wearing a green armless vest and green pants at the time she fled the home.
Suzette said that her daughter, who attends the Dolphin Secondary school, was last seen on Wednesday at the South bus park in uniform. “I need my daughter to come back,” she said.
