A Partnership for National Unity (A.P.N.U) said at about 1.45 pm today it had been told by the Chairman of the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM), Dr. Steve Surujbally, that he had been informed by the PPP/C that the proclamation of victory on presidential candidate Donald Ramotar’s Facebook Page was the work of “over enthusiastic party supporters” and disassociated themselves from its content.
A.P.N.U in a statement is calling on the PPP/C to “exercise caution and recognize their responsibility to the nation’s well being.”
