Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday remanded two men to prison after they appeared before her to answer to two counts of forgery.
The allegation is that on October 23 at Georgetown with intent to defraud, Stephan Reece and Sylvester Nannam forged one Scotia Bank cheque to obtain $3M. It is further alleged that between August 1 and October 23 the duo conspired with other persons to forge another Scotia Bank cheque and obtained $3M from Ceymona Hakh.
The men were not required to plead to
