I’m a Lindener, and my main focus is on our education, social and economic situation in Linden town.
Since the beginning of the political campaigns and before, various political parties have been coming to Linden very frequently. What amazes me is that none of them brought or did anything to enhance or beautify our town. Drains are dug continually around Linden and mud, bottles, grass, wild eddo plants and other obstacles are left on both sides of our roads, only to return to the drains some time after, because they are not removed promptly. Political meetings, church crusades and other functions are held very close to garbage heaps, but no one seems to care any more.
All political parties organized their membership and followers with large music boxes fitted on large trucks with loud speakers, indicating to citizens who they must vote for, but none of them organized a clean-up campaign for Linden town.
Is it all about politics and which party wins? What about people and their health?
