President Bharrat Jagdeo has extended condolences to the relatives of the late Region Three Vice Chairman Manpersaud and GAP/ROAR parliamentarian Everall Franklin.
According to a Government Information Agency (GINA) press release, the president said Manpersaud was dedicated to the development of his region and the country. He also recalled that during his tenure, he went beyond the call of duty to deliver goods and services to Region Three.
Jagdeo also remembered Franklin as an affable personality who served in the Ninth Parliament of Guyana.
The president said Manpersaud and Franklin’s services to the nation will be missed, while adding that his thoughts and prayers are with their elatives and friends of Persaud and Franklin at this time.
