Dear Mr. Rutherford,
The Kashif & Shanghai Organization received a legal letter from Attorney-At-Law Mr. Roysdale A Forde LL.B, dated November 30, 2011, on behalf of Alpha United FC, seeking to be reinstated into the K&S 2011 invitational tournament.
We are writing you for advice on the way forward, since the Organization have 48 hours to respond. We are seeking the contractual document that has the rules governing the sanctioning of the tournament that we have to adhere to.
Such a document will relate to the circumstances where Alpha United currently stands in breach of Rule (article) that governed the sanctioning of the tournament by the Guyana Football Federation (GFF).
We would wish that you take into account the fact that the legal letter demands the inclusion of the Alpha United Team in the twenty second annual Kashif and Shanghai Football Tournament.
Our interpretation of that rule has led us to believe that should the Kashif and Shanghai Organization acquiesce to the demand made in the legal letter, it would itself stand in breach of the Federation’s rules thereby rendering the tournament vulnerable to the withdrawal of the Federation’s sanction.
We have decided that our response to the legal letter should be guided by a written pronouncement from the Federation.
It would be appreciated if this matter receives your urgent attention.

Dear Mr. Aaron,
I wish to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated 2nd December 2011 to which was attached a copy of Correspondence your organization received from Attorney-at-Law Mr. Roysdale Forde demanding the inclusion of the Alpha United Football Club in the 2011/2012 Kashif and Shanghai Tournament.
The correspondence under reference were referred to our Attorney-at -Law and we are advised that it is the prerogative of the Kashif and Shanghai organization to determine the clubs from the various Football Association which will take part in its tournaments and to do so in compliance with the terms and conditions of its contractual obligations to the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) which is the sole entity in Guyana with responsibility for the grant of permission for the hosting of the National and Inter Association Tournaments and competitions.
Please be guided accordingly.
