Dear Editor,
This morning on Canadian National Radio, there was an excellent documentary on the minority outcome of Russia’s recent parliamentary elections, and the unpopularity of Vladimir Putin who until now has been gleefully attempting to stage a comeback. It was eerie reading this, given Bharrat Jagdeo’s behaviour, the Gecom debacle and the election outcome in Guyana. The parallels are quite interesting, and I include the website for your readers who can listen to the story which will be uploaded by Wednesday morning. They can judge for themselves all the similarities. It is: http://www.cbc.ca/thecurrent/
Yours faithfully
Alissa Trotz
