PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – Guyanese Cary Harris struck his second straight brace to fire Harlem Strikers to a convincing 3-1 win over Couva Sports in the Central Football Association Premier Division “Big-Six” competition last Sunday.
A former international, Harris drew his team level on the stroke of half-time after Antonio Matthew had put Couva ahead five minutes earlier.
Lynton Jones then gave Strikers the lead with 12 minutes to go in the contest at Woodford Lodge Ground, Chaguanas before Harris banged in his second six minutes later to keep his team with a 100 per cent winning record after two matches.
The goals extended Harris’s excellent form and came on the heels of his double against Perseverance Ball Strikers’ 4-1 opening round victory.
