At about 2130h last night, the police say that ranks searched a man at Takaka Landing, Cuyuni River, in whose possession was found an unlicensed . 38 revolver with 3 matching rounds and 271 grams marijuana.
The force said he has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
Further, police say that at about 0400h. today, ย ranks conducted a search on a house at Puruni Landing, Cuyuni River, where they found an unlicensed 12-gauge shotgun with two cartridges, along with six .38 rounds, 115 grams marijuana and 13 grams suspected cocaine.
