The final year students of the University of Guyana, Social Work programme on Friday completed the Community Intervention Process at the South Ruimveldt Park Nursery School; they rehabilitated the school’s playground. This now creates a safe and secure environment for the children to convene and interact with their fellow peers. Head Teacher of the school, Tyefia London, expressed gratitude for the work done in the compound by the students. The children were quite excited to try out the newly rehabilitated play park. In this photo, in the back row, London [centre] poses with the UG students [from left to right] Rolesha Hanover, Kerry Ann Charles, Abegail Fraser, and Telesha Telford. With them are some of the pupils of the school.
