(Jamaica Gleaner) The Jamaica police seized over 200 pounds of cocaine and arrested seven men – including two Colombians – in a drug bust off the coast of St Mary yesterday morning.
A release from the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) said the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division (TCND) and the military, in a joint operation which began about 7 a.m., seized cocaine weighing 236 pounds and two boats with the men aboard about 10 miles off the St Mary coast.
The CCN said more details will be released as detectives from the TCND continue their investigations.
