President Donald Ramotar has appointed three persons to a panel he has set up to review the tax system.
A GINA release yesterday said that Ronald Ali, economist Dr Cyril Solomon and businessman Clifford Reis had been named by the President to review the taxation system, and that they would begin their work shortly.
The agency went on to report Ramotar as saying in an interview with NCN Editor-in-Chief Michael Gordon yesterday that the terms of reference had already been completed and had been sent to the members of the panel.
He spoke highly of the appointees, GINA said.
