Deputy Mayor of Georgetown Robert Williams is currently a patient of the Caribbean Heart Institute where he is said to be attached to a heart and oxygen machine.
According to one source, relatives are uncertain about the time Williams will be required to spend at the institute while doctors monitor his condition.
He was admitted on December 1 and inquiries revealed that he did not suffer a heart attack. However, doctors continue to run tests before offering a diagnosis.
Yesterday when Stabroek News visited the CHI, a relative who was leaving after visiting the Deputy Mayor, indicated that his condition was improving.
