The final set of Round of 16 matches in the Georgetown Football Association (GFA)/Banks Beer Knockout Cup concludes this evening with a double header scheduled to kick-off from 18:00hrs at the GFC Ground.
The first game will see Georgetown Football Club (GFC) facing Houston Stars FC before the second game between Santos FC and Banks DIH All-Stars commences at 20:00hrs.
Winners of these respective round-of-16 matches will face Camptown and Beacon FC in quarterfinals on Christmas Day.
GFC and Santos are the two favoured teams to come out victorious this evening and some notable players at club level will be on show from both sides.
For GFC they have former Golden Jaguars captain Terrence Lewis, Chad Fernandes, Teshawn Blackman and Cordell Tudor. Santos on the other hand will depend on the likes of striker Gerald Wittington, mid-fielder William Europe while Jermaine Fraser and Lennox Charles will be charged with marshalling their defense.
