The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Company’s Jingle and Song Competition grand finale for the English segment produced superb performances last night with crowd favourite Brandon Harding taking the top prize.
The coveted first prize of one Toyota IST motor car was handed over to Harding who hails from the mining town of Linden.
In second place was Poonam Singh followed by Ester Osbourne in third place. To much disappointment, Calais Peterkin ended in fourth and teacher Onika Joseph rounded out the top five.
Harding was always the crowd favourite especially with the ladies and he was the only male contestant who made it to the top 10.
The top 10 also included Nia Allen, Diana Chapman, Ernesta Nelson, Jenell Pierre and Nikeshia Alexander.
