At about 1815h yesterday, police say that Mark Narine, 19 years of Jacklow, Lower Pomeroon, was piloting a boat with two other persons inside when it is reported that the vessel struck a log in Abrams Creek, Upper Pomeroon, and capsized resulting in his demise.
Narine’s body was later recovered and is at the Charity Hospital mortuary awaiting a PME.
