Several children from Bush Lot to Ithaca, West Berbice were treated to goodies when the Aditya Kids Trust Fund Foundation (AKTFF) held its annual Christmas parade two Sundays ago.
Led by a truck with loud music, the parade consisted of Santa Claus and his helpers along with girls who were dressed as angels. Several children along with some adults lined the roadways to view the parade. A director of the AKTFF, Tyrone Madramootoo, who is based in Toronto, Canada came especially for the event. He told this newspaper that clothing and toys were also handed out to the less fortunate children. He said this is the fourth year for the parade and that the president, Archie Mohan, was present for the other three.
