President visits hospital on Xmas Day: President Donald Ramotar and First Lady Deolatchmee Ramotar spent the early part of their Christmas Day distributing gifts to children in the Georgetown Public Hospital’s Pediatric Care Unit, according to GINA. A GINA release further stated that the President and First Lady distributed gifts to over a dozen children. President Ramotar commended the staff of the Unit. GINA said that the season has seen the President and First Lady spreading the Christmas spirit by visiting homes for the less fortunate and distributing hampers and gifts to them.
