The Board of Directors, Management and staff of the Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) bid farewell to its Chairman, Juan Edghill at a simple ceremony on Thursday at its Lamaha and Carmichael Streets offices, a release from the GPOC said.
It said that Board and Management members offered glowing tributes to Edghill who served as Chairman from 2003 to 2011 and is now the Minister in the Ministry of Finance.
The statement said, “The Chairman, in his presentation highlighted some of the milestones achieved and the hurdles that had to be leaped over the past years. He encouraged management to continue building on the foundation that had been industriously laid over the years in key areas including finance and security.
