Magistrate Judy Latchman yesterday further remanded three of six men accused of armed robbery committed at the Hollywood Bollywood Night Club.
Attorney at Law Glenn Hanoman who represented Kerwin Higgins renewed his bail application.
He argued that his client was never picked out on an identification parade hence the man should be placed on bail.
His application was however objected to by the prosecution who stated that there is strong circumstantial evidence against the man.
The Georgetown Magistrate’s Court heard that on January 2, at Georgetown, Rayan Hing, Damian Boston and Kerwin Higgins, while being armed with a gun, allegedly robbed club owner Irene Gooding, 62, of a quantity of gold jewellery, a quantity of rum and $600,000 all to a total value of over $2 million.
