A one week long dominoes competition in honour of Mark `Jumbie’ Wiltshire’s 57th birth anniversary is set to commence tomorrow at three venues namely Dynasty, Frankie’s Shop at Wales and Meckles at Leonora.
The competition, which is set to conclude on January 14 at the Transport Sports Club, will see the winning team receiving $100,000 and a trophy according to a press release from the organiser.
Entrance fee is $10,000 per team and the tournament will be played on two teams in and one team out basis with matches being of four games duration and not the usual six.
There will also be two feature matches involving first Old Revolutionary; Old Dancing Brave and Old Saddam and second, Wild Bunch, Providence and Snake.
Starting time will be 2pm and the sponsors are George Griffith/Wild Bunch.
