Cabinet has offered its no-objection to several contracts including US$74,000 for the procurement of handheld explosives detection sets.
At the post-cabinet media briefing yesterday, acting Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Gail Teixeira, said no-objections were given for a $66.7 million contract for consultancy services for the Aurora Development project as well as a $19 million contract for the procurement of computers for the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA).
In addition, no objections were granted to a US$164,317 contract for the Guyana Elections Commission for the production of identification cards, a $72 million contract for the procurement of a jet vacuum truck mounted sewer cleaning system as well as a $21 million for vehicles for the National Intelligence Centre.
