Police say that Sohan Busjit is wanted by the police for questioning in relation to robbery and murder committed on Delon Collins, a fireman, on 2011-12-24.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Busjit is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers: 333-2191, 333-2151, 225-8196, 225-2227, 225-6411, 911 or the nearest police station.
The suspect is 23-years-old and his last known address is Limlair Village, Corentyne.
Collins, 29, was shot to his chest after he and his wife and their three children were confronted at their home at Alness, Corentyne by four men. Police said the robbery occurred at about 11:15pm.
Collins, and his wife, Probation and Welfare Officer Nadine Crawford, 32 and their children had just returned to their home at when they were attacked by the armed men.
“The men took away jewellery and $62,000.00 during which Delon Collins was shot to his chest after which the perpetrators escaped,” police had said in a press release then.
Collins was pronounced dead on arrival at the Port Mourant Hospital.
