A man accused of stealing his family friend’s gold band was yesterday admitted to bail in the sum of $50,000, after appearing before acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The allegation against Joseph Williams, a vendor and pork-knocker, is that on January 5, at Georgetown, he stole a gold band valued $52,000, property of Fayan Morris.
