Dear Editor,
Construction of the shelter for the homeless at Onverwagt for which Venezuela donated the money, started over one year ago, and contractors have changed. The Minister of Finance should tell the Guyanese people something about this shelter; when completed it was to house two hundred men and one hundred women. You can see the building as you pass, and for months now it is still to get windows. The project was not for West Coast Berbice people alone, but the whole of Guyana, and it will need beds and furniture. People have come to me and asked me many questions about it.
