The scales of justice are not balanced in Guyana. It is a few years since Justice Y S Mohamed resigned as Ombudsman. This man was a very fair man, and investigated people‘s complaints and gave them advice.
The Jagdeo administration did not appear to believe in fair play and justice, because they should have appointed an Ombudsman, and there are many retired judges who could hold this position, Mr Ramotar believes in fair play and justice, and he should ensure an Ombudsman is appointed.
