A Sparendaam woman was last night admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) with a single gunshot wound to her left arm.
Reports are that 38 year old Caroline Peters of Sparendaam Squatting area was at her residence when she was shot.
Details of the shooting are unclear however Peters was treated at the GPHC where she was a patient up to press time.
A resident of the Sparendaam area said sometime after 7pm he heard multiple gunshots but could not ascertain the circumstances.
