Head of the Presidential Secretariat and Cabinet Secretary Dr Roger Luncheon on Thursday announced that Cabinet has given its no-objection to a contract valued €419,000 (GYD$110M) for consultancy services for technical assistance in mangrove rehabilitation.
The contract, which is for the Natural Resources sector, is among four contracts that received no-objection at the last statutory meeting of the cabinet, held on Tuesday, the Government Information Agency said.
Luncheon also said that no objection were offered for a $16.9M contract for the supply, delivery and installation of furniture, equipment and accessories for the Guyana Police Force training facility at Young Street and Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown; a $15.1M contract for dietary supplies for the dormitory facility at the Waramadong Secondary School in Region Seven; and a contract for $15.03M security services at the National Exhibition Centre.
