Police in Mahdia last Friday discovered an unlicensed gun and several matching rounds near the airstrip and an arrest is yet to be made.
Police said in a press release that around 10:30 hrs on the day in question police ranks conducted a search in the vicinity of the Mahdia Airstrip during which a .38 revolver and 12 matching rounds were found.
Investigations are in progress.
