The body of a man is being kept at the Lykens Funeral Parlour after it was collected from the Diamond Diagnostic Centre on Saturday evening.
This newspaper understands that the man, who is yet to be identified, was the victim of a hit-and-run accident along the East Bank of Demerara.
It was reported that the man, after being rushed to the EBD institute, died several hours after.
When Stabroek News contacted the funeral home last evening, it was indicated that no one has yet come forward to identify the body.
