An Albouystown man was on Monday night robbed of cash by two men who fled the scene in a waiting motor car.
According to reports reaching Stabroek News, the gunmen held up Ronald Stanley at James Street, Albouystown. They then escaped in a car which police later found parked in a yard at Diamond.
The driver of the vehicle told the ranks that he had been hijacked and admitted that he had not reported that matter to the police.
Stabroek News was unable to contact Stanley.
Investigations into the robbery are continuing.
