The stage of the National Cultural Centre (NCC) came alive with exuberant dance moves and colourful costumes when the Ministry of Education’s Children’s Mash Competition continued on Tuesday.
Dancers jumped, gyrated, pranced and flounced across the stage, giving performances that aptly incorporated this year’s theme “Mashing with pride, keeping we traditions alive”, a Government Information Agency (GINA) press release said. Tuesday’s contest saw participation from schools within the Georgetown district even as similar competitions are ongoing across the country.
