(Jamaica Gleaner) A probe is now under way by the Independent Commission of Investigation (INDECOM) into the killing of three men by the police in Rosevale, St James, yesterday.
The men have been identified as Nico Nesbeth, 21, his brother, Dwayne Nesbeth, 18, and 27-year-old Gregory Witter, all from Vietnam, in Rose Heights, St James.
The police also reported that two firearms, a witness 9mm pistol and a .357 Magnum revolver, along with 12 rounds of ammunition were seized during the incident.
INDECOM director of complaint, Reverend Gordon Evans said investigators were already in the community collecting statements from eyewitnesses and that the hands of all police personnel involved in the operation have been swabbed.
