First and second division cricket competitions in Georgetown will commence shortly.
According to a press release from the association’s Public Relations Officer, Colin Alfred, clubs are being requested to commence the process of getting their ground in order in preparation for a start to the season early next month.
“The Competitions Committee of the Georgetown Cricket Association would like to advise all member clubs that the Carib Beer/Friends of Cricket Heroes Cup First Division and Noble House Seafoods Second Division cricket competitions are scheduled to resume on March 3, 2012,” the release stated.
“Clubs with grounds are asked to prepare their venues for the resumption of the season,” the release added.
