An Invaderz XI gave defending GT&T 10/10 softball champions Wolf Warriors a wake up call last Sunday at Leonora Primary School ground beating them by 34 runs in the West Coast Zone final of the Preparatory 10/10 tournament currently underway.
Batting first, Invaderz XI scored 170-5 off their allotted 10 overs with Vickram Dhaniram 64 and Khemraj Ramsundar, 50, the principal scorers.
Amreth Rai with 2-30 was the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, Wolf warriors fell for 132 with Riaz Karim, 30 and Safraz Karim 21, the top scorers.
Dhaniram crowned a fine all round performance by bagging three wickets while Khemraj Ramsundar captured 2-12.
