The police on Thursday said they were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Skeldon watchman Kumar Plummer, whose body was found at Arimu Backdam, Cuyuni.
Police said that investigations revealed that Plummer, 53, of Line Path, Skeldon, who was employed as a watchman for some mining equipment by a miner, was found on the site with his feet and hands tied with polythene rope. A piece of rope was also seen around his neck.
The body is at the Bartica Hospital mortuary awaiting a PME.
