Dear Editor,
Just about two years ago the music world lost an icon in the form of Michael Jackson, and recently another one, Whitney Houston, has “Gone Too Soon.” Ironically it was Michael who sang that song, and how apt it is for both of them.
The service for Whitney was most touching with all the glowing tributes and I wondered if only she had heard just a third of them whether her life would have been different. It reminds me of the saying, “Don’t send me flowers, let me smell the roses.”
