The Georgetown Reading & Research Centre will be offering buyers books at giveaway prices in addition to free books as a bonus during its first Literacy Week from yesterday until Saturday at its Woolford Avenue premises.
A press release from GRRC director Rupert Hopkinson said that for this week all books will be sold at giveaway prices of 60% to 90% off the regular price while every buyer will get up to ten books free with the purchase of any amount.
Hopkinson said this is the first Literacy Week since the establishment of the GRRC 14 years ago and it comes in the middle of a grand sale, where a buyer gets eight books free until March 28 with the purchase of books to the value of $2,000.
