Dear Editor,
Many funeral parlours are fleecing relatives of thousands of dollars on the pretext that they can have a body imported into the country. The relatives then discover that it could be sent back to the country of origin if the necessary documentation is not presented, or else it could be kept at the hospital mortuary until the relevant documents are produced.
I would advise citizens that a recognized funeral parlour should be contacted when the intention is to have a relative who died outside the country buried here.
